Why I'm writing this

There are a couple of reasons I decided to do this. One, I am a writer. Rather, a storyteller. I am the friend in the group who writes emails so long they would be obnoxious if they weren't funny, too. So it's my natural state of rest to be telling a story.

Two, I've always thought it would be nice to have a scrapbook of the love of your life, but who knows at the time that they should be making 

it. I know, or at least am Pretty Darn Certain, that this is going to be it. And I'd like my kids, who will probably be more tech-savvy than I can even imagine, to be able to see how it all happened....

So yeah, deep down, it's about me being sentimental and imagining our kids asking how we got together, and while we can tell them the story - which is awesome - I'd love for my sons or daughters to know what was really going on in my head when I fell in love with their father.
